Jill Adler-Moore

Jill Adler-Moore is a professor emerita at California Polytechnic University Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona), where she was a biology professor and prolific researcher during a 38-year tenure. She helped develop and patent AmBisome, a novel drug delivery system for treating fungal diseases in humans. She played a key role in creating Cal Poly Pomona’s biotechnology major — the first in the California State University system — in 1990. She earned her Ph.D. in medical microbiology from Cornell University Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York City.
